Hearts4Kauai offers in person private group classes, Blended Learning options, and community class options. Which is right for you? If you are an individual looking to get certified, we are offering the Blended Learning courses or the community class option. See the link above for the community class option, and see below for details on the blended learning. If you are a private group of 4 or more, then we can arrange a group class or help coordinate a group "Blended Learning" class with a skills check. Contact us for more information.
Are you looking for an option that is go-at-your-own pace, offering the flexibility to work within your schedule? The American Heart Association (AHA) offers an E-Learning course, available for purchase through the AHA website. This portion of the course can be taken in the comfort of your own home or office. Upon completion of the AHA course, you will contact us to schedule your required “Skills Check," where we will verify your skills. You can schedule through our online scheduling software, at which point you can also take care of payment. Please note that that the AHA courses are not affiliated with Hearts4Kauai. Any technical difficulties should be directed directly towards the American Heart Association. The Family & Friends CPR Course teaches the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only CPR, adult CPR with breaths, child CPR with breaths, adult and child AED use, infant CPR, and mild and severe airway block for adults, children, and infants. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment using the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible.
Family & Friends CPR is for people who want to learn CPR but do not need a CPR course completion card to meet a job requirement. This course is ideal for community groups, new parents, grandparents, babysitters, and others interested in learning how to save a life. Contact for pricing!
Heartsaver courses are designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory (for example, OSHA), or other requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. For many Heartsaver courses, students receive a course completion card that is valid for 2 years.
